ADHD, AuDHD, & Autism Therapy for Adults in Nashville, TN.
For the ones who've always felt different, let's find what fits you.
Neurodivergence explains what never made sense.
You were told you were lazy when you were actually trying to find the motivation to get through the day, the to-do list in your mind never ending.
You were told you were shy when you were actually observing. You learned to read people and rooms before anyone in them ever said a word.
You were told to get your shit together because you were always falling apart, but falling apart is what happens when you push yourself so hard that eventually, you burn out and collapse.
Maybe they were actually wrong. Neurodivergence is often misunderstood.
When you've spent a lifetime masking.
Masking isn’t just about performing a version of yourself for other people. Over time, it can become a relationship with yourself: one that can erode self-trust and authenticity in favor of expectations.
Masking can result in perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-abandonment, chronic anxiety, or burnout from constantly overriding your needs and hiding parts of yourself.
It’s entirely possible to have forgotten who you are in the process.
Therapy with me is a place to build a different relationship with yourself
one where you get to explore, learn to trust, and move toward authenticity instead of constant adaptation.
You don't have to show up with the right words, a clear diagnosis, or a plan. Taking the first step is enough. We can move at your pace, make room for nuance, and figure things out without forcing you into a box.
You don’t have to keep performing. Let’s figure out what feels like you.

The goal isn’t to make you appear more neurotypical, but to help you understand yourself, work with your brain, and build a life that actually fits.

No, I do not formally diagnose neurodivergence. However, if you’re looking for a formal diagnosis, I can recommend you to some of my trusted psych providers who can walk you through their diagnostic process. We can take a neurodivergent approach to therapy regardless of a formal diagnosis if you find thats helpful for you.
-
Absolutely. We can work with neurodivergent burnout, which can accumulate over time from chronic masking, overwhelm, and trying to function in environments that induce stress.
Burnout can look a lot like depression, including exhaustion, withdrawal, loss of motivation, and feeling disconnected from yourself. Therapy can help you understand what’s contributing to the burnout, identify ways to reduce the demands that are draining you, and find more sustainable ways of functioning. -
Yes. I don’t try to “fix” you, because I don’t believe you—or neurodivergence—is the problem. We’ll approach our work together with affirmation and curiosity. I might not always get it right, but I am always learning.
-
It’s rarely black and white, or one thing or the other. Neurodivergence, trauma, OCD, and anxiety often overlap. You don’t have to have it all figured out. We can explore whatever frameworks and labels help you understand yourself in ways that feel authentic to you.
